An Application Scientist at ABT is a scientific and technical expert within the Research & Development team, responsible for bridging product innovation with real-world customer applications. The role combines laboratory-based product development, chromatography expertise, customer technical support, application development, and scientific collaboration with biopharmaceutical and academic partners.
Technical Support & Scientific Communication: Application Development & Method Optimization: Design, execute, and optimize chromatography experiments and purification methods using customer or representative samples to evaluate and improve performance of ABT agarose-based technologies for proteins, nucleic acids, peptides, viruses, and other biomolecules. Master's degree or PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a closely related Life Science discipline. Professional fluency in English (required).
Full-time on-site position with occasional remote work possible depending on laboratory and business needs.
