Valencia, Spain (on-site) Industry : Fintech Startup About the role We are looking for an HR Generalist to join a fast-growing fintech startup in Spain and build all HR processes from scratch. This is a hands‑on role with high ownership, working closely with the CEO to prioritize and implement HR initiatives that support rapid business growth in a regulated fintech environment. You will play a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy, culture, and operational HR foundation as the startup scales.
Full-cycle recruitment in Spain (tech & non-tech roles) Building and managing all HR processes from zero (onboarding, policies, performance, offboarding) Managing HR operations in a fintech startup environment Office administration and coordination (documentation, employee support) Ensuring compliance with Spanish labor law and fintech‑related requirements Prioritizing HR initiatives in close collaboration with the CEO Acting as the main point of contact for employees on all HR-related topics Supporting scaling and team growth through structured, compliant HR solutions 2+ years of HR experience in the Spanish market ~ Proven experience in recruitment in Spain ~ Experience working in startups and/or fintech companies (strong advantage) ~ Ability to build HR processes independently from scratch ~ Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written) ~ Opportunity to build and own HR processes in a fintech startup from the ground up Strong general support and knowledge sharing from international colleagues across the Aventus Group
