As part of the
- *Proximity Hosting Solutions**
Our team manages the complete infrastructure hosted in Equinix Data Centres in Frankfurt and operated by Getronics. This environment supports critical Financial Markets platforms such as KDB, Ullink, MarketView, GEP, and Horizon—core systems enabling our client to conduct global trading activities, including on the Eurex Frankfurt Exchange.
As a
- *Wintel & Linux Engineer**

- End‑to‑end operational and support activities
- Manage and support Windows and Linux servers
- Administer and maintain database systems (installation, backup, basic troubleshooting)
- Manage storage systems (SAN/NAS), provisioning, and performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot incidents and resolve issues within SLA timelines
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Linux user access
- Perform system and database patching, backups, and health monitoring
- Develop and execute automation scripts (PowerShell/Bash)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and database deployments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep)
- Handle escalations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement fixes
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams
- Maintain system and database documentation
- Platform stability, performance, and reliability
- *Patch and Vulnerability Management
- Manage and execute patching cycles for Windows and Linux systems, ensuring minimal disruption and high availability
- Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities using industry-standard tools and security best practices
- Perform regular vulnerability scans and track remediation activities to closure
- Automate patch deployment and compliance checks using DevOps tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)
- Ensure adherence to organizational security policies, audit requirements, and compliance standards across environments

- *As a DevOps Platform Engineer, you need:
- *Knowledge and experience
- Strong delivery, change management, and organizational skills
- Good understanding of systems administration:
- Windows Server, Linux, Citrix, SQL Server
- Experience configuring and maintaining infrastructure in data center environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability systems
- Understanding of storage management and backup/restore procedures
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025), Active Directory, GPO
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration
- Database:
- MS SQL Server / MySQL / Oracle
- Backup/restore, basic performance tuning, patching
- LUN provisioning, RAID concepts, zoning/masking
- Storage performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins / DevOps / GitHub Actions
- Version control: Git
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / ARM / Bicep
- Virtualization: VMware / Hyper-V
- Monitoring tools (

- Experience with:
- Infrastructure pentesting processes
- Vulnerability management
