Ana Montero

I have been working as a researcher for 4 years where I have been doing research in the department of immunology and oncology. During these 4 years, I have found in science a vocation that has made me grow a lot both personally and professionally having currently a contract in an ERC project.

I consider myself a person with a lot of initiative and in search of personal challenges. I also like to work in a team and help my colleagues if necessary, providing a favorable environment for the development of a research activity.

My experience ranges from molecular biology techniques (RT-qPCR, WB, ELISA, PCR, MIDI, transfections, infections, gene cloning strategy design, etc), cell culture (co-culture, differentiation assays, MTT, etc), flow cytometry (tube assembly and analysis), antibody generation (peptide selection, animal immunization, fusion, hybridoma generation, etc), bioengineering (biotin development).
