Chloe Mills

Hi, my name is Chloe and I'm from Birmingham in the UK. I am in Barcelona until July as I have just completed a course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am also studying Spanish whilst I am here. I have been working with children for 3-4 years and it is something I enjoy and want to pursue whilst I am here. I love staying active, cooking, and learning all about new cultures.

Duties included working with children from troubled backgrounds and teaching them life skills, helping with their education and helping prepare them for adult life. Offering emotional support and being able to manage difficult situations and conflict resolution.

I worked as a support worker for an agency and was primarily working at an eating disorder clinic for 13–16-year-olds, offering emotional support and trying to integrate them back into society.

1 I worked as a student mentor with an 11-year-old child with special educational needs, I offered emotional support and helped them with schoolwork that they were struggling with.
