- Taught as a student intern in a kindergarten and a second-grade classroom in Title 1 schools where I worked collaboratively with mentor teachers to unpack curriculums to create engaging and effective lessons
- Took over full responsibilities for a week in each school by lesson planning and executing all lessons and classroom management
- Observed different teaching styles to manage behaviors and engage different kinds of learners
