Microbiologist/Immunologist with over 7 years of experience in both diagnostics and research. Specialized in autoinflammatory and rare conditions (vasculitis), biomarkers and preclinical innovative drug screening. Currently working on a PhD thesis, testing targeted therapies for giant cell arteritis (GCA) as informed by clinical trials on in vitro models.

This obtained knowledge we tend to translate to clinical practice creating a personalized medicine approach to manage GCA and help patients to improve quality of life. Experienced in presenting scientific findings in international conferences. Interested to continue building my career in clinical research and enrolled in Masters in Clinical Trials Monitorization.
