Georgia Kyriazi

I am a Cypriot dentist recently graduated from the Medical University of Sofia, currently residing in Cyprus, and relocating to Murcia, Spain in September 2025 for a Master’s Degree in Implantology, Periodontology, and Tissue Regeneration at UCAM. The program runs on Fridays and Saturdays every two weeks, allowing me to work concurrently and gain valuable clinical experience in the Spanish healthcare system. I seek a clinical role that complements my postgraduate training, allowing me to continue developing my dental skills while contributing to patient care in Spain.

I have completed a full clinical internship and worked in Cyprus across various dental disciplines including orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, prosthetics, periodontology, and conservative treatments. I speak English, Greek, Bulgarian, and am actively improving my Spanish (A2, aiming for B1). I'm eligible to work with patients within the scope of my studies and while working at UCAM dental, I will be covered by civil liability insurance (seguro de responsabilidad civil profesional) provided by the university.

July 2024 - February 2025: Dentist Intern at Koutras Orthodontic Clinic, in Nicosia, Cyprus

• Worked alongside Dr. Thomas Koutras, President of the Cyprus Dental Association
• Assisted in the application of braces, Invisalign, and orthodontic micro-implants
• Used digital tools: Planmeca X-ray, Intraoral scanner (Trios core wired and Trios 5 wireless), SprintRay 3D printer
• Designed and filled orthodontic appliances, retainers, space maintainers
• Supported minor surgical interventions (e.g., exposure of non-erupted teeth, micro-implants for orthodontic reasons)
• Developed treatment plans using X-rays, plaster models, and clinical photos

September 2023 - June 2024: Dental Clinical Internship at Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria

• The 6th year of studies in Sofia FDM is a full-me clinical internship which is a part of the Integrated Master's, EU-compliant of DDM (Doctor of Dental Medicine)
• Rotated through all major departments: Paediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Restorative Dentistry
• Administered local anaesthesia and performed root canals, pulp capping, pulpectomy, and extractions
• Conducted periodontal exams, scaling, prophylaxis, and oral hygiene education
• Managed paediatric treatments including sealants and fluoride application
• Took impressions and prepared crowns, bridges, and dentures

June 2022 - August 2023: Dental Assistant at Pavlos & Alexia, in Larnaca, Cyprus

• Assisted with clinical procedures, sterilizaon, and chairside support
• Took dental impressions and X-rays
• Handled scheduling, billing, paent communicaon, and EHR documentaon 
• Fabricated and polished study models
• Set up dental instruments and supplies in alignment with dentist preferences
• Assisted with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
• Made patient reminder calls and followed up on missed appointments

September 2018 - July 2025: Doctor of Dental Medicine at Medical University of Sofia - Dental Faculty with Integrated Master's of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
