I have a degree in Speech Therapy, a Master's in Motor Skills and Orofacial Sensitivity and a student of Economics and Business Administration (distance). I decided to complete my training with this second degree because it is an area little explored from the discipline of Speech Therapy and I want to develop my professional profile with a more integrative approach.
For two years I have worked in a private speech therapy and psychology clinic in Madrid, Avalops, specialized in offering various communication services. In parallel, also with this team, I have been responsible for the guidance service of a British school, the King’s College La Moraleja. There I have worked with cases of autism, maturational delays, dyslexia, bilingualism, and other difficulties.
When I consider it appropriate, I decided to leave Avalops to continue my studies and find an organization where I could transfer my skills and knowledge and continue to prosper.
During this transition I was offered a research project in a Hospital as a clinical speech therapist, where I was working for a few months.
Later, I have been supporting the team of the Valladolid Parkinson's Association (APARVAL) during the most critical time of the pandemic. Afterwards, I worked in a social project offered by the Madrid City Council helping those families who need it most, as a speech therapy professional.
What I like most about my profession is the humane treatment; the opportunity it gives me to constantly learn from others while I help them in very relevant aspects of their lives. I am a person very committed to my work and my colleagues. I believe in inclusion and I consider diversity necessary because it enriches the environment.
Now I would like to continue with the aforementioned purposes, and this is the reason why I would like to work with you. I am especially motivated to work here due to the consideration and respect I feel for the work you do.
