My role as a receptionist / Host includes greeting customers and responding to queries both face to face and via telephones, as well as using various Microsoft packages including Excel and Word. The role also requires administration knowledge and skills, which has since improved since working for the company.

Working Shift Manager - One Stop

This role was challenging, but also very rewarding in terms of improving my knowledge and skills. As a Working Shift Manager I was in charge of a small team, and therefore had to be organised, approachable, understanding and trustworthy. Overall, I had a lot of responsibility as I dealt with large amounts of cash, locking up the store, and dealing with customer complaints.

The role required resilience, patience and company knowledge. Although sometimes difficult, I enjoyed the overall challenge, and as result, gained a lot of confidence and self-assurance.

Customer Advisor - Argos

My role at Argos required exceptional customer service and teamwork skills. I mostly worked on collection point, as well as in the store's backroom sorting customer orders quickly and effectively. I enjoyed this role immensely, but aspired for something more challenging. Overall, I have worked many customer service and retail roles that require the same skills and experience, and thus I have extensive knowledge of this field of work.
