Laura Pérez Vicario

I am originally from Spain (Malaga). I have worked as a flight attendant for the past 7 years. Job that I have collated simultaneously with my recently finished studies (BA Interior Design).

In my CV you will find my most recent work experience, however I have had many more jobs than that. I started working as soon as I entered highschool, which shows that for a very long time I have been capable of multitasking, that I have great organisational skills and that I am reliable. Furthermore, if you pay attention to the dates, you will see that during the pandemic I had several jobs at the same time.

From my job as a flight attendant I have learned how to handle stressful situations and always look for the most efficient solution to problems, which requires creativity and a sharp mind. I have also developed outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and I am especially good at presenting as I am a natural seller.

As a creative, I believe that spaces are not only inhabited but felt.

And it is that feeling that I pursue to produce, not only in the homes of people, but in any opportunity that life may bring me to explore the arts of interior design.

Since a young age I have always had a huge connection with creativity, colours and feelings. My brain is continuously analysing the space I am in and finding reasons why it makes me experience it in the way it does. If I were to define my style, I appreciate a room full of colour as much as minimalist design, a modern building or an old cathedral. What I find most important is the balance of the set, and the feeling that it gives. And of course, always, how nature is included in it.
