María Paz Serra

I'm Paz. Pazi, Mari, María Paz.

I make videos, small films, but also photos and design. Well, I'm a bit of a Creative. I believe I think in video language. I have little pieces of paper that say I'm a Multimedia Technician & Bachelor in Audiovisual Arts. Little pieces of paper that symbolise many days and hours of coming up with ideas, thinking about their visual translation, scripting, filming & editing.

I have developed as a producer, director, scriptwriter and editor. I chose the oldest profession in the world, storytelling. I like to think that I could have done this at any time in history. But the story is, I'm Paz.

In the last 4 years, I graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Arts, founded my own photography and video studio (Le Otre Studio), directed audiovisual and graphic projects in 4 countries, been nominated in the Barcelona Fashion Film festival 5 times, moved to Barcelona and did the creative direction of the rebranding of ESDI, Escola Superior de Disseny de Barcelona as my first job in the city. In all these opportunities, I found myself doing art direction tasks almost by chance. That's why I have realized that it is in this area where I have to professionalize myself.
