I hold a PhD in Early Modern History that combines the history of midwifery with theology and interpretation of how conceptions of women influenced medial policy. My research spanning philosophy, theology, and the history of ideas and medicine. My current research focuses on philosophical anthropology through the work of Edith Stein and Thomas Aquinas, providing a strong intellectual foundation for collaborative research addressing questions of personhood, embodiment and ethics.
