Maestra bilingüe con extensiva experiencia en Reino Unido y España. Automotivada y entusiasta, deseando contribuir con mi experiencia, conocimientos y pasión por la enseñanza, al desarrollo de la oferta educativa del colegio adecuado. Organizada, determinada y con un gran conocimiento del currículo español y el currículo británico, estoy comprometida a crear un ambiente de enseñanza facilitador, en el cuál los alumnos puedan progresar y alcanzar su máximo potencial a través de actividades significativas.
In my current school I am responsible for planning and teaching a KS2 class. However, in previous roles I gained experience in the EYFS and KS1. I have a great understanding of the curriculum and I am very familiar with planning and organizing an enabling and nurturing indoors and outdoors learning environment.
I am also confident teaching literacy through different schemes such as Letters and Sounds and Read Write Inc and the use of Talk for Writing. I am able to work alongside TAs, LSAs and SENCO to ensure we provide the support and strategies to engage all learners. I have taken responsibility for coordinating the Arts and DT, Science and MFL areas across the school which allowed me to contribute to the development of the school curriculum.
My experience includes working in different classroom and school environments that vary from working in smaller than average schools and larger schools. I have experience working very closely with children with different special educational needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties and ADHD, giving them the additional support that they needed and directing LSAs to ensure the maximum progress of the students. I have also been very successful in settings with challenging behavior and high level of EAL students where I set effective intervention groups targeting the needs of children and their families.
In addition to this, I have built a proven successful record providing SATS and 11+ exam support as a private tutor. I can proudly say that applying my teaching and mentoring skills I have achieved a 100% pass rate in the past academic year.
