• Developed a removable vision-based force-sensing system for microgripper applications, combining a 3D-printed compliant cantilever, computer vision, Euler–Bernoulli beam theory and experimental validation.
• Integrated a Force Dimension sigma.7 haptic device in the UK with a robotic manipulator at ESA ESTEC in the Netherlands, configuring the hardware and communications setup and interfacing it with ESTEC-developed teleoperation software.
• Supported troubleshooting of a colleague's modular 6-axis force/torque sensor for haptic teleoperation, assisting with hardware/software integration and diagnosis of system-level issues.
• Represented ESA at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, presenting the work of the Vulcan Analogue Sample Facility to the public, explaining the role of planetary simulants in space exploration, and demonstrating ESA VR projects.
