Peter is an accomplished, multi-national executive well-known for leading strategically prominent transformation initiatives within the Manufacturing industry, Business Development and Capital Equipment Project Management that propel organizations to peak growth and bottom-line impact. With nearly three decades of comprehensive success in leadership, he has built most of his career with the Barry-Wehmiller Group.
In his most recent role as Senior Vice President of Operations for EMEA-Corrugating & Finishing, Peter heads up the Sales, Manufacturing, Field Service and Spare Parts teams in the containerboard machinery segment of the business within the EMEA region. He also leads and supports team members at the European manufacturing sites, implementing the new regional structure, re-invigorating the leadership team, and creating market share growth.
Before this, Peter spent two years as SVP of Global Sales for the same business unit. He was appointed head of the global sales team of 80 resources responsible for growing the Corrugating and Finishing/Boxmaking Equipment product category with an annual sales target of $205M. He collaborated cross-functionally in defining addressable markets, determining critical product development needs, and building sales account strategies.
As Vice President of European Operations, (Hamburg, Stuttgart, Budapest, Milano, Frankfurt) Peter was appointed as a local leader overseeing the acquisition of Koerber Papersystems in Germany, tasked with integrating and aligning the business units to operate as a cohesive team. He led European business operations, with an annual revenue of 150m€ with a group of 500 resources across four manufacturing facilities and the European head office.
Peter began his career at Barry-Wehmiller in the Design Group as a Project Manager/Director and was eventually promoted to practice Partner. He was a member of core leadership in this engineering firm of 700 resources, providing consulting services to global food, beverage, and consumer product clients in the USA. He managed national client relationships and acquired expertise in delivering large capital projects, including layout development, mechanical and electrical design, OEM and contractor management. In this role, Peter led multiple greenfield facility projects and was handpicked by large clients such as BBraun and Nestle Waters to deliver large-scale, high-profile capital projects.

Peter received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Missouri-Columbia.
