I’m a laboratory scientist with a BSc in Biological Systems Engineering and an MSc in Biomedical Research. Hands-on with microbial assays, PCR/NGS workflows, sterile technique, basic materials testing (antibacterial coatings), and clean SOP-style documentation, sample tracking and inventory. Comfortable in Python (pandas/Jupyter) for data checks and simple automation.
I’m an EU citizen, fluent in English, learning Swedish, and available to relocate. Interested in QC Biochemistry, Research Associate, or Manufacturing Associate roles in biotech/med-tech.
Hands-on lab work in biomaterials and molecular biology. At UPC-BBT I helped develop and test an antibacterial coating for endotracheal tubes: microbial inhibition assays, sterile technique, optical/UV-Vis readouts and basic mechanical testing, with tidy SOP-style records and sample tracking. At IBE-CSIC-UPF I ran eDNA workflows (extraction, PCR/NGS, taxonomic analysis) and wrote clear reports.
Earlier I supported epidemiology projects at IMIM. I also coordinate a small teaching team—useful for planning, inventories and calm communication.
MSc in Biomedical Research (UPF, 2025): molecular biology, immunology and genomics; thesis in environmental DNA. BSc in Biological Systems Engineering (UPC, 2024): bioprocesses, materials/biomechanics, CAD, lab safety; thesis on antibacterial coatings with Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. Comfortable with Python/R for data checks and small automations. English (near-native), Spanish/Catalan (native). EU citizen, open to relocate.
