Steve Rochester

I am a native English speaking Early Years professional of over ten years’ experience, fully qualified having undertaken the PGCE and NQT in the United Kingdom. I have been working as a class teacher in British International Schools in Spain for the majority of my career. I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan and French as well as my native English, and play the guitar and ukulele frequently as part of my sessions with the children.

I am deeply passionate about psycholinguistics and the acquisition of language in young children, and have been specialising in Phonics in my most recent role.
