Hello, I am Victoria and I like to be called Tor or Tory. I have recently completed my 180-hour TEFL certificate and have been working in an English language school in Mexico for the last 3 months. I plan to leave this school at the end of the August semester and am looking for my next adventure. I am passionate about spiritual and physical health and enjoy doing yoga every day. I master the skill of being warm, friendly and personable.
My professional experience varies as I have done lots of different ventures in my life. I started in administration, document control and reception work. I then moved onto midwifery training and working within the care industry. As well as those areas I have worked in retail, restaurants and bar as well as many volunteer programmes such as feeding the homeless and working in charity shops.
I studied 2 years towards a degree in midwifery and then realised this was not right for me. I then completed my TEFL and started working in as an English teacher in Mexico.
My TEFL course is the most important as this was where I realised, I wanted to teach and that I was on the right track towards my dream career. The time I spent in university was not in vein as I learnt a lot, about the topic and myself. I also realised I have ADHD and need to tailor my life to the needs I have academically and personally.
