About the Role

We are seeking a Developer – AI/ML Platform to join our AI Engineering team, where you'll contribute to building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our AI capabilities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with LLM systems, ML workflows, and cloud-native technologies, with a strong interest in applying AI to real-world enterprise problems.

You'll work alongside ML Architect, Lead Developer, experienced engineers and data scientists, contributing to our AWS-based AI/ML platform while learning about emerging AI technologies like LLM integrations, RAG patterns, and agent frameworks.

What You'll Do

Help build the AI infrastructure that powers intelligent finance automation for customers around the world.

You'll contribute to Basware's cutting-edge AI/ML platform—the engine behind our intelligent document processing and financial automation capabilities used by global enterprises processing millions of invoices.

•Build the AI foundation – Develop and maintain the data pipelines, ML workflows, and infrastructure components that enable machine learning to operate at enterprise scale across our worldwide SaaS platform

•Bring AI to life in production – Work on integrating large language models and generative AI into real-world financial workflows, helping global customers unlock new levels of automation and intelligence

•Contribute to the ecosystem – Build the tools, services, and platforms that enable data scientists and engineers across Basware to deploy, monitor, and scale AI capabilities efficiently

•Innovate with modern technology – Work hands-on with AWS, Databricks, MLflow, Docker, and emerging AI technologies to create robust, cloud-native solutions that serve customers in multiple regions

•Shape the future of AI/ML – Participate in evaluating and implementing new AI patterns like RAG, vector databases, and agent frameworks as we evolve our platform capabilities

•Collaborate across teams – Partner with data scientists, product teams, and fellow engineers to productionize machine learning models and create seamless AI-powered experiences

•Grow your expertise – Learn MLOps best practices, gain hands-on experience with LLM APIs and frameworks, and develop skills in building scalable AI infrastructure in a supportive, innovation-focused environment
