Founding Engineer / Full-Stack Developer

The Role

You will join a small, fast-moving team building an energy trading platform from the ground up. Priorities shift quickly, but you'll have genuine ownership. Your decisions shape what we build and how, and you'll see the impact directly.

Your role is to own the technical architecture and work across the full stack, with a focus on backend systems that handle large volumes of electricity market and weather data.

What We Look

For

Experience building full-stack applications, ideally involving large-scale data processing or real-time systems

We use Python with Django, Aiven-hosted Postgres, and deploy on Fly.io, with AWS potentially on the horizon. Familiarity with major cloud providers is welcome but not expected

Ability to make and own technology choices independently, while communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders

Bonus: Experience or interest in quantitative methods - whether in machine learning, statistical modeling, algorithmic trading, or other data-driven domains

Bonus: Understanding of energy markets or the energy industry What We Value
