We are seeking a Lifecycle Controller to join our global Energy Storage Business organization in the rapidly growing renewable energy market.

As a Lifecycle Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial performance reporting, operational controlling, and compliance across Lifecycle revenue streams, including Long Term Service Agreements, SaaS, Field Service, Technical Support, and Parts. Working closely with business and finance stakeholders, you will support financial integrity, profitability improvement, risk management, and continuous development of controlling processes and tools across global Lifecycle operations.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling.
• Experience in Field Service, Long Term Service Agreements and Parts environments, with an understanding of key business drivers.
• Strong understanding of agreements and service business controlling.
• Advanced financial systems and reporting tool knowledge, including SAP, SWF, Excel, Power BI, QlikView and Estimo.
• Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in developing processes and tools.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Job Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities for Lifecycle operations.
• Monitor and analyse profitability, margins, cost performance and key financial KPIs across Lifecycle revenue streams.
• Provide financial reporting, business analysis and ad hoc insights.
• Monitor order book performance.
• Perform balance sheet follow-up, reconciliations and other controlling activities to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support operational controlling activities, including cost monitoring, WIP follow-up, timesheet validation, project and cost allocation reviews, and master data maintenance.
• Ensure agreement estimates are regularly reviewed, challenged and maintained.
• Support rate calculations for Field Services and Global Technical Support Centre activities.
• Perform internal control activities and support audit processes within the area of responsibility.
• Maintain high-quality financial and operational data by proactively monitoring and improving data accuracy in SAP and related systems.
• Develop, implement and monitor business control KPIs, reports and performance measures.
• Provide proactive support to stakeholders by identifying risks, sharing insights and recommending actions.
• Support Estimo mobilisation and demobilisation of agreements.
• Act as a key user for SAP and other Lifecycle controlling tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost efficiency and overall business performance.
• Challenge existing ways of working and promote continuous improvement and best practices across Lifecycle operations.
• Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting tools and automation solutions.
• Support development projects, system enhancements, testing activities and deployment of new tools.
• Deliver training, guidance and knowledge sharing to stakeholders across the global organisation.
