Hi,

I am Gréta, 27 years old from Hungary. I have been studying in Finland Adventure and Outdoor Education since Sept 2022. Before that I was living in Denmark for 6.5 years, studying and working. I have a degree in Multimedia Design and Communication but I wanted to change path towards a more fulfilling occupation. I am interested in outdoor schools, working with kids outdoors, nature therapy which I hope I will be able to do in relation to my studies in the future.

I was babysitting for 7 years, worked with different age groups of children. My first experience with kids was when I was an Au Pair in England for a year in 2014. I took care of 3 children, 6 year-old girl, 8 year-old boy and a 9-month-old baby boy.

It was such a precious experience that I got to love working with kids and beside my studies I continued being a babysitter. I worked for an Australian family for 1.5 years with 2 kids at the age of 2 and 5. I picked up the kids from kindergarten by a cargo bike and took care of them until the parents got home.

Then I worked for a Danish family for almost 3 years, with a 1.5 boy and a 9-year-old girl at the time of my start. I had similar roles there as well, picking the kids up and taking care of them. Although I spent most of my time with the baby.

I did bedtime routines a lot, dinner time, bathing, reading before bed.

I am a smiley person with a positive attitude who considers kids precious, unique beings. I believe they need a lot of outdoor activities especially nowadays technology tends to keep children indoors. Playing outside freely can enhance their creativity and I would like to support that. Also listening to their needs and giving emotional support to them play an important role in my values.

Even though I gained some experiences throughout my years as a caretaker, I am very open-minded for more to learn and there are so many ways to raise a child.

I am here to support the parents, to make their lives easier and willing to adjust to their needs completely.
