I began my career in 1996 as an Accounts Assistant in a chemical manufacturing company, where I developed a strong grounding in accounting fundamentals, bookkeeping, and financial processes. In 2000, I moved into the role of Accounts Officer, where I spent 13 years contributing significantly to the organisation’s financial growth and operational strengthening. During this period, the company expanded from an INR 6 million business to an INR 450 million enterprise, and I played a proactive role in supporting this growth through disciplined financial management, commitment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

With a desire to diversify my experience and enhance my professional capabilities, I joined Associated Dyestuff Pvt. Ltd. While the role offered exposure to a new sector, the lack of professional work culture and limited opportunities for growth motivated me to seek a more progressive environment.

I then joined Tekni-Plex, a global packaging and medical tubing organisation, as Manager – Accounts & Finance, and currently serve as Senior Manager – Finance. Working in a multinational setup has enabled me to collaborate closely with global teams, strengthen my analytical and reporting skills, and gain hands-on experience in international business processes and standards.

During my time at Tekni-Plex, I successfully implemented material reconciliation processes, enabling accurate identification of process losses and excess density variations, which improved operational transparency and cost controls. Additionally, I automated cost computation in Excel, improving efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities for management.

This journey has enriched me with strong leadership experience, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of financial planning, cost management, and strategic business support.
