About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back-End Developer to join our dynamic product engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our high-volume data processing pipelines that ingest and analyze over 80 million documents daily. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional squads comprising product owners, front-end developers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions that support our core platform functionalities.

Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver timely, accurate, and enriched consumer insights to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a microservice architecture utilizing a modern tech stack, including Go, Python, and Elasticsearch, within a fast-growing and innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in back-end development, ideally within SaaS or data-intensive environments
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, and JavaScript
• Experience with microservice architecture and related technologies
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and ScyllaDB
• Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka and containerization tools such as Docker and Ansible
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and server management, particularly Debian-based systems
• Experience in designing scalable processing pipelines handling large volumes of data
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in agile teams
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to project management

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize data ingestion pipelines processing over 80 million documents daily and managing extensive storage systems
• Design, develop, and implement new features and solutions in collaboration with product owners and cross-disciplinary teams
• Define project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely deployment
• Enhance and maintain shared tools, libraries, and infrastructure components used by the back-end team
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our microservice architecture and processing workflows
• Implement new functionalities such as vector search capabilities, data tracking, and custom AI enrichments
• Support the integration of new data sources and improve system stability and performance
