What You'll Do
- Design challenging engineering problems across domains like RISC-V/ARM architecture, FPGA development, memory management, and hardware-software co-design
- Author ground-truth solutions including step-by-step technical write-ups, assembly code, HDL snippets, and architectural diagrams that serve as reference answers for AI training
- Audit AI-generated outputs — evaluate code in C/C++, Verilog, and VHDL, as well as logic gate designs and OS kernel implementations, for correctness, efficiency, and industry standards compliance
- Identify and document reasoning failures such as race conditions, memory leaks, and improper timing constraints, and provide structured feedback to improve model reasoning
- Stress-test AI models on advanced topics including computer architecture, embedded systems, networking, distributed systems, hardware security, and operating systems
Who You Are
- Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science (hardware focus), or a closely related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more of: Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, or Operating Systems
- Able to communicate complex hardware concepts and low-level software logic clearly in written form
- Precise and detail-oriented — comfortable working at the level of bit operations, clock-cycle timing, and technical documentation
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI evaluation workflows
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, or hardware simulation environments
- Familiarity with formal verification methods or hardware security concepts
