DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Project Context

We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to contribute to cloud infrastructure, deployment automation and platform engineering initiatives in the Basel region.

You will collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability, infrastructure scalability and operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
• Improve monitoring, availability, security and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize software delivery processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Good knowledge of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Docker and container technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding of Linux systems and cloud networking.

Your Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or infrastructure automation.
• Strong automation mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with Agile software development environments.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Based in Switzerland or willing to work in the Basel region.
