Junior Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platform infrastructure.
• Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance for application deployments.
• Work with senior engineers to automate infrastructure and operational processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Help troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and platform issues.
• Support cloud infrastructure management in environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Maintain documentation for platform architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
• Ensure platform security and compliance best practices are followed.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
