YOUR ROLEAs a Ruby-on-Rails Developer, you'll work on the back-end for our cutting-edge products using Ruby on Rails, Elastic Search and PostgreSQL.
You'll collaborate with a passionate Front-end and UX team to deliver fast, reliable, and beautifully designed applications that shape the yachting industry.
Develop and maintain our back-end written in Ruby-on-Rails
Work on our data pipeline on Postgres and Elastic Search
Build and optimise API integrations to improve data delivery
Work closely with designers and front-enders to craft seamless user experiences
Optimise performance and scalability for a growing user base on AWS
Contribute ideas and solutions to improve our products
5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails development
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, AWS, Docker and APIs
Passion for building intuitive, high-performance back-end applications
Great communication skills and good command (written and spoken) of English
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Experience working remotely in a fast-paced, ambitious team A strong team player, with a strong feeling of ownership and responsibility A problem solver, who prioritises solving the stakeholder need over anything
