Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot / Grails to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning complex feature development, resolving defects, and refactoring both legacy and modernized components of the T-Builder platform. This role requires deep backend expertise along with the ability to work across the technology stack when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex feature development across both legacy and modernized components of the T-Builder platform.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects to ensure high-quality and stable application performance.
• Refactor and enhance existing code to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration across services.
• Work with MySQL databases to design efficient queries, optimize performance, and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.
• Understand and manage end-to-end data flows across the system architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices for coding standards and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and/or Grails framework.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Experience working in AWS-hosted environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly in production environments.
• Ability to understand complex systems and manage end-to-end application workflows.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with distributed teams in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to modern cloud-native application development practices.
