Description du poste

Senior Python Developer / Data Engineer

As part of our migration to Google Cloud Platform and the scaling of a pragmatic data stack orchestrated with Airflow, we’re looking for a versatile engineer to help us build a robust, scalable, and maintainable platform.

You will work on

  • Designing and evolving modern data pipelines (Airflow, DBT…) around Python
  • Empowering business and product teams through democratization of data and BI (Metabase)
  • Tackling a variety of topics: batch & stream processing, data modeling, monitoring, eco-design…

What we’re looking for

Mindset

  • DevOps Culture
    • Confident deploying new versions and managing rollouts
    • Comfortable collaborating with infra/ops to gain autonomy for deploying and monitoring your own applications
    • Cost-aware: choosing the right server, architecture, and configuration for the purpose
    • Proficient with Datadog or Sentry for setting up your own monitoring and alerts
      • You like to be the first alerted when a job fails
      • Able to write post-mortems to help the team grow
      • “it works on my machine” is a red flag for you
    • Eco-design of digital services (RGESN or similar appreciated)
  • Product/Ownership Culture
    • Used to leading projects from idea to production (not just following specifications, we want your inputs)
    • Able to find the right balance between delivered value and technical perfection
    • You can deliver quickly and iterate as a team
    • You ask clarifying questions early to avoid misunderstandings
  • AI
    • We code with Claude Code as a real engineering tool : specs, tests, monitoring & dashboarding using Datadog, code reviews, but we never vibe code
  • Communication
    • Strong written communication: you share progress and blockers regularly and asynchronously (Slack, docs)
    • You’re transparent about what you know and don’t know, and you ask for help when needed
    • You are able to work alone on some projects, you know that team work is the key to success
    • You offer help to others, even outside your direct responsibilities
    • You can lead (or co-lead at first) knowledge sharing sessions to fill gaps you identify
