About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Supplier Data Management (SDM) team, responsible for developing and maintaining the Akeneo Supplier Data Manager, the gateway to our Product Cloud for supplier data. This role involves building scalable, reliable data processing pipelines that convert complex, high-volume supplier data into trusted, standardized catalog information. The ideal candidate will work across the full technology stack, from back-end data pipelines to front-end interfaces, contributing to features that streamline supplier onboarding and product data enrichment.
As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, participate in customer discovery to understand end-user needs, and help shape the future of our platform. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, with pathways to senior engineering roles and broader technical leadership, as you develop expertise in handling large-scale data transformations and AI-powered solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, PHP, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
- Experience working with large-scale data pipelines and processing systems
- Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks, especially for data extraction and classification tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and debug effectively
- Comfortable working across the full stack or eager to broaden technical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing priorities
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy features for the SDM platform, including data processing pipelines and user interfaces
- Build reliable, scalable pipelines that convert diverse supplier data into clean, classified, and enriched catalog information
- Implement deterministic processing steps and leverage AI models like LLMs for attribute extraction and product classification
- Participate in end-to-end ownership of features, from development to monitoring and support in production environments
- Engage in weekly support rotations to resolve issues and ensure platform stability
- Collaborate with product teams and customers to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into development cycles
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and continuously improve platform performance and reliability
- Mentor junior team members and grow into a senior engineering role through code reviews and collaborative learning
- Work with adjacent teams within the Product Cloud to ensure seamless integration and platform coherence
