Having completed a PhD in physics, currently completing an MBA, and equipped with a years-long fascination for business, I'm excited to hone my skills in a financial area.

After spending many years in fundamental research, I started realizing that I want a larger impact on the world than papers and citations. I decided to pursue an MBA in parallel to my PhD in order to prepare me for the adventure ahead. Now, with my PhD done and having almost completed my MBA, I'm ready to take on the world!

Junior consultant at AXA Climate, a fast-growing branch of AXA group for insuring and consulting on climate-related risks

• Conducted research and business development to introduce nature-based solutions for climate risk mitigation to a growing client portfolio. Reported weekly to head of nature-based solutions
• Assessed key climate risks of a client’s 27 billion € asset portfolio with a team of 5 consultants. Presented findings to team of managers at client company and to the board of directors
• Quantified risks for an invasive algae species. Designed an insurance model with revenue potential of up to 2

million € from clients in the Caribbean area alone, with potential to expand to other regions

• Modelled the carbon sequestration of forests under climate change. Delivered findings as a future key resource to science team and in-house consultants
• Consistently rated as a top performer in consulting team
