À propos

From regulation to market: built and ran a payment institution, launched an e-invoicing hub, and delivered two products and an open agent-delegation protocol; maintained, modernised and scaled a platform for 850 accounting firms and 80 partners through its acquisition. Product and engineering leadership across accounting tech, payments and regulated environments. Manager of managers across product, development, QA, security and compliance.

Applied research translated into an open protocol and products for work between people and delegated agents. I translate regulatory change, strategic shifts and platform constraints into products, integrations and operating models. My remit connects business cases, architecture, teams and partners with launch and production.

Across banking migrations, payments and e-invoicing, I have led work where commercial objectives, data integrity and professional accountability hold together — with customers, partners, CEOs, supervisors and boards.

Expérience

Founder — applied research, product & engineering at Riga.solutions (2026-01 – 2026-08)

Two products for accounting and legal professionals delivered from discovery to production in six months, alongside an open protocol for verifiable agent delegation. Products put the research into practice.

  • Products: an M&A virtual data room where parties work with their own agents, and an e-invoicing dispute-management workspace organising the work needed to resolve a refused invoice. Discovery with firms, vendors and accredited platforms shaped both products; each party retains its own systems and delegated agents.
  • Open protocol: designed and published Verifiable Authorization Lineage (VAL), a protocol for bounded human–agent delegation and independently verifiable action records, applied in both products. At every agent action, RIGA recalculates the agent’s effective authority from the delegator’s current rights; each recorded action is linked to its human mandate in a VAL chain that each party can export and verify offline, while signing and consent remain human-only. Identity/key binding (FranceConnect+), WebAuthn mandates, qualified-signature validation against EU trusted lists, fine-grained authorization (OpenFGA), timestamping and offline verification. Integrated the Yousign API for signing workflows and evidence-file retrieval.
  • Developer platform: Designed and delivered a self-service developer product and dashboard exposing RIGA’s APIs through MCP (29 tools), REST (13 resources / 46 routes), a TypeScript SDK, signed webhooks and OAuth step-up, with audit export and offline VAL verification.
  • AI-assisted delivery: sole product and engineering lead, using Claude Code and Codex from discovery to production; owned scope, architecture and delivery, with 80+ ADRs and automated conformance checks. Member of the AARM community (initiated by Vanta, now CSA); active in the OWASP MCP Top 10 group.

Director of Operations & Product (COO) — SaaS vendor, Executive Committee at MyCompanyFiles, a Visma company (2022-06 – 2025-12)

Collaborative document and data platform for 850 accounting firms — team of 20–25, €1M budget.

  • Leadership: product, development, QA, security and compliance in one remit; six direct reports including two team leads coached into their roles. Led product and technical framing, sequencing and trade-offs with the product lead and tech lead, through Scrum and Kanban squads; €1M budget, recruitment and development/QA contractor sourcing. Reported to the CEO and Visma board.
  • Integration portfolio: 80 partner APIs run end to end through a dedicated squad (PO, tech lead, developers) — strategy and roadmap, KPIs, partner lifecycle, support escalations, status to sales and support.
  • Platform transformation & run: maintained and modernised a legacy platform as it grew — application-estate roadmap, framework and identity-layer modernisation, first QA function, crisis-management process and AI-generated tests.

With the teams: 7M to 25M documents a year at 99.995% availability, incidents halved and releases moved from monthly to weekly; operational and security incident response.

  • E-invoicing hub: proposed the programme and defended its budget to Visma board members; assembled the architects and the product manager who designed it; led platform selection, partner pitch and kick-off, customer pilots and launch — one entry point to the 25 largest accredited platforms, in production and signing customers at handover, while the 80 existing partner APIs stayed live.
  • Visma integration: due diligence passed, group security standard reached in 12 months against an 18-month plan at constant capacity, first six months of group onboarding; acting CPO for the final nine months.

Head of Operations — Payment Operations & Systems at Monext (Crédit Mutuel Arkéa Group) (2020-01 – 2022-06)

New institution under PSD2 and an ACPR licence — card acquiring on Monext’s processing platform, checkout to settlement (150 merchants incl. Aroma-Zone and the CGR cinema chain, 1M+ transactions, €43M settled in 2021; team of 4 plus subcontractors, full autonomy).

  • Build, launch and PayOps: built the banking operating layer on Monext’s acquiring platform; card-scheme integration and SEPA certification through to first merchant go-live, six months after licensing.

Ran two financial years of operations: Visa/Mastercard clearing, payment accounts, safeguarded funds, merchant payouts, reconciliation and exception handling over EBICS and CFONB; runbooks and SLAs with the processor and bank.

  • Data & cash system: designed and built the control system on an AWS data lake, using Kafka and message-oriented middleware. Combined collection and clearing files, card transactions, payment-account positions and safeguarded cash. Daily discrepancy alerts and position checks supported cash-out, for which I was responsible.
  • First line of defence: built an independent transaction-level control model for ACPR reporting (OSCAMPS, SURFI) — every return rebuilt from the data and reconciled against system output before filing; merchant KYB onboarding, AML/CFT monitoring; incident management — triage, L2 escalation, root cause analysis.

Digital Transformation & Client Portfolio Lead at Cabinet Gérards-Cottin — chartered accounting practice (2015-01 – 2019-12)

  • Inside the profession: managed a 50-client portfolio, with a formal accounting qualification; introduced paperless workflows and an automated bookkeeping-to-financial-statements chain. Direct experience of the work accounting software must support.

Data Migration Manager · Tech Lead at Sodifrance (Sopra Steria Group) — Banking, Insurance, Logistics (2001-03 – 2014-12)

  • Banking change & migrations: franc-to-euro change on mainframes; separate migration and merger programmes for banking groups including Crédit Agricole and Banques Populaires regional banks, with collision analysis before mergers. An 80,000-object system map supported rationalisation planning in the separate consolidation of twelve Caisses d’Épargne.
  • E-logistics platform delivery: technical direction of STACI France’s platform and its EDI integrations with client ERPs, from specification through production.
