A highly motivated, adaptable, rigorous and teamworker organic chemist with a real passion for the art of drug discovery. After more than 6 years of academic and industrial research experience (France and Canada) working on multidisciplinary projects involving chemical synthesis, bioconjugation, biophysical and cellular evaluations, I am ready for new exciting challenges!
Holder of a PhD in therapeutic biological chemistry, I have acquired solid skills in organic synthesis, purification by HPLC and characterization of bioactive compounds by usual techniques in organic chemistry (NMR, MS, etc.). I am currently doing a 3rd postdoctoral internship since November 1, 2023 in the Laboratory of Bioimaging and Pathologies (UMR 7021) which mainly focuses its research on the development of fluorescence-based tools and methods to study the properties and roles of key biomolecules involved in different pathological processes in cancerology and microbiology. I work more precisely in the team of Pr.
Yves Mély (Biophotonics of Molecular and Cellular Interactions) which is specialized in the development and characterization of fluorescent probes, fluorescence microscopies, lipid-binding proteins and vectorization methodologies to study the molecular mechanisms playing an important role in infections and cancers. I am actively involved in the synthesis of fluorescent nucleosides derived from guanosine (thG and tzG) as well as their triphosphate and phosphoramidite derivatives for incorporation into oligonucleotide sequences.
2017-2020: PhD in therapeutic biological chemistry supervised by Dr. Dominique Bonnet at the Therapeutic Innovation Laboratory (UMR 7200)
