Hacene Terbouche

I am Hacene TERBOUCHE, 25 years old, a Machine/Deep Learning Engineer. I like solving machine learning challenges and building AI models. I also believe that "Deep learning is the new electricity". I have also a versatile engineering background ranging from embedded systems, telecommunications and networks. Young, motivated, hard worker, and self-taught as I believe that the only constant in life is change.

As one of the AI Engineers of Powder AI Team, I was involved in different projects ranging from research to production. These include audio-visual self-supervised learning, video summarization, hierarchical image classification for video highlighting, audio event detection, etc. I also gained a significant experience adapting to different technologies and programming languages throughout my last experience, including writing clean high-quality python code, cloud deployment, code testing and reviewing.

I am also familiar with various software development methodologies, including agile scrum.

The TRIED master trains datascientists, the data scientists are experts in data analysis, processing and modeling. They master the concepts and technologies of artificial intelligence. The training is multidisciplinary at the border between applied mathematics, computer science and physics.

The aim is to acquire the skills needed to develop machine learning algorithms for complex statistical modeling in a variety of application areas. In recent years students have been trained in deep learning , these techniques have important prospects in many sectors.

the Master TRIED therefore offers opportunities in the rapidly expanding statistical data processing sector in various areas of application: space remote sensing, telecommunications, environmental and climate sciences, biometrics, but also in the tertiary sector (banks, insurance, business management) where data requirements are increasing.
