Kaylah Edwards

Attending an undergraduate institution that encouraged the concept of “Global Learning” has significantly helped shape my interest in the field of Foreign Service and my current Masters program in International Governance and Diplomacy. From my first-year going abroad to Bolivia, to this past half-year (and counting) living in France, I have experienced living and learning in different communities, and the importance of bridging the gaps between countries and cultures. The aforementioned interests and experiences have stimulated my desire to work in public or political diplomacy, and explore the opportunities available within this field overall.

Outside of these professional interests, I have also developed other skills with video editing and e-commerce site management which I have been able to employ in diverse contexts.

• Served as the front facing coordinator for GAPSC’s transfer to a purely digital processing system, creating formal guidance, video tutorials and communications for educators, college and school system personnel
• Handled secure information within digital and hard copy filing systems while working with a team to efficiently digitize the process, resulting in an over 50% reduction of paper waste and usage
