Young engineer, passionate about SouthEast Asia and willing to have an impact in the renewable energy field. Very sociable, hard worker and sporty, I am also autonomous and open minded.
I have a general engineering education at the French “Ecole des Mines d'Alès”, in which I specialized in energy & environment.
I have developed a great interest in the themes related to energy and participated in many renewable energy installation projects. Deeply passionate about South East Asia, I had the opportunity to experience a 6-month exchange program in Hanoi and to expatriate to Malaysia.
At the end of my scholarship, I did my internship at Huawei as a solution engineer in the solar department. I worked on the sizing of photovoltaic projects, the assistance to the engineers in the management of incidents, the development of internal tools to optimize our work and the analysis of data to advise the strategies of the department.
Afterwards, I went to Malaysia under a French “VIE” contract at Ciel&Terre. I detailed this experience at the next question.
Last year, I joined the consulting engineering office Seureca - a subsidiary of Veolia - as a project engineer in the energy department. I work on international missions in the energy field: development of renewable energies, improvement of energy performance, modernization of electrical networks… My responsibilities include the identification, development and technical follow-up of these projects.
Passionate about energy issues and used to working abroad, I am looking to get involved in supporting Southeast Asian actors in their energy transition, their decarbonization and their awareness of climate change. In addition to my experience, I have taken additional modules to have a better understanding of the issues and the impact of global warming on our society. I inform regularly about the latest energy and climate news and have developed a certain culture on these issues.
I went to Malaysia under a French “VIE” contract at Ciel&Terre. I oversaw the deployment of the subsidiary Laketricity - development of floating photovoltaic projects - in South-East Asia.
I worked on the whole preliminary phase: from the prospecting of sites to the signature of PPA/OLA contracts, including technical studies, sizing, and the preparation of tenders. It enabled me to develop project management and to understand the Asian energy market. Working abroad was very formative as I develop new ways of making projects and acquired a certain maturity.
