My name is Leonardo Oliveira Aroldi, Brazilian, 19 years old and a third year student of Economics at PUCPR (Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná). I'm currently studying abroad at ESSEC Business School in France.
I am academic director of the Academic Center of my home university. I had already worked as a sales trader and in the financial sector of two startups.
I am curious and interested in everything that involves economics. I have a communicative and dynamic profile. I am fluent in English and I am studying French. My professional goal is to work with economics getting closer to the field of data science.
The choice for ESSEC (École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales) was based on extensive research. I conclude that in this institution my academic knowledge and worldview are expanding, as this environment of knowledge and learning has proved to be one of the best in Europe over the last few years, mainly in the areas of business and management.
I also seek to network with professors and students to have an international and consistent experience. Going to Europe, especially France, is one of my goals in life. The main subjects of study planned by me are finance and politics.
I already had the opportunity to work as an intern in two startups. My first experience was in sales, where I was able to develop my communication skills, but the most important aspect was understanding the complete process of a company turning a profit. Even though I enjoyed my first job a lot, I was looking to experiment with other areas, and that's how I sought and was able to work in the financial sector, where I developed more technical skills. Both internships were in Brazil.
My most relevant experience was the last one, in the financial sector of a company, where I had the chance to learn about accounting, market analysis, business organization, etc.
