Expérience
Electrical Engineering Intern at Schneider Electric (2026-02 – 2026-08)
Focus: Electrical design, component selection, safety verification, technical documentation
- Supported the electrical design of an 800-bed healthcare facility – a critical-power site with standby diesel generation and UPS-backed distribution – translating customer specifications into equipment selections, parts lists and bills of quantities across 15+ distribution boards and switchgear assemblies.
- Selected and verified electrical components and protection devices (ratings, protection coordination, installation constraints) in line with IEC 60364 and IEC 61439; produced and modified drawings in AutoCAD Electrical and issued design documentation under revision control.
- Defined inspection and pre-energisation test criteria for LV switchboard assemblies, including clearance and creepage verification against IEC requirements, with risk assessment and defect reporting to ensure safe, high-quality assemblies.
- Reviewed supplier offers and technical documentation against customer specifications, identifying deviations and resolving discrepancies between drawings, single-line diagrams, datasheets and specifications.
- Acted as technical interface between design teams, internal specialists and equipment suppliers across France and Italy, answering technical queries and contributing to shared design data and documentation.
Research Intern at G2ELab (2025-05 – 2025-09)
Focus: Renewable generation sizing and grid connection
- Sizing and grid-connection study for a photovoltaic plant supplying a rural community: generation assessment in PVsyst, plant and equipment sizing, and connection study to the local network, with assumptions and results documented in a study report.
