Live-in Carer (2009-01 – 2015-04)

I was a live-in Carer with dedicated support for an aging relative who had Arthritis and Urinary incontinence as a result of old age till her end of life. I was in charge of preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands. I oversee medication and prescriptions usage, appointment reminders and administering medicine.

I help with getting in and out of shower, wheelchair or car which helps her better enjoy her visits to recreational centers and family. I provided constant companionship and general supervision. I enjoyed talking with her as we shared memories together and laughed together.

I also assist with personal care such as bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise. I followed her care plan and notice any changes in her health, recording and reporting any differences.
