About The Role We are seeking a Contract Software Developer to join a prestigious Defence organization. This role is ideal for professionals holding active SC or DV clearance, looking to contribute to critical defence projects.

The successful candidate will be based in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, or Hampshire, and will play a vital role in developing and maintaining software solutions that meet stringent security and operational requirements. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

You will maintain close communication with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with operational objectives. The position offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to balance on-site and remote work, along with a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

• Active SC or DV security clearance is essential.
• Proven experience in software development, particularly with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of modern development practices.
• Experience working with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
