About the Role

We're looking for an AP Apprentice to join a small, friendly finance team based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone new to finance who is keen to learn, enjoys working with numbers, and wants to build a long-term career in the field.

You'll initially focus on Accounts Payable (AP), supporting day-to-day finance operations. As you develop in the role, you'll also gain exposure to Accounts Receivable (AR), giving you a strong foundation across transactional finance.

You'll receive hands-on training, support from the wider finance team, and mentorship from other apprentices, with formal study delivered by an on-site training provider.

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will be AAT qualified.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing and supplier queries

Maintaining accurate financial records

Assisting with Accounts Receivable tasks as the role develops

Working closely with the finance team to meet deadlines

Learning finance and accounting best practices through on-the-job training and study

What We're Looking For A genuine interest in starting a career in finance and working with numbers

Strong Maths skills and confidence with detail A minimum of Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and comfort working in the office full-time initially
