Back End Developer

This employer is seeking a backend-focused Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust systems for a variety of client platforms and products. The role involves working across the full backend lifecycle, from application logic and API development to database management and performance optimisation.

The Role

• Develop and maintain backend features, application logic, and complex third-party integrations.
• Manage database architecture, data modelling, and ensure high standards of data integrity.
• Implement and monitor background processing, queues, and search indexing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Diagnose production issues and contribute to the ongoing modernisation of technical infrastructure.

What You'll Need

• Proven commercial experience in building and deploying production-grade web applications.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, with experience in modern frameworks such as Laravel.
