• *About The Role**

We are currently seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our client's dynamic and innovative team based in Romsey, Hampshire. This hybrid role offers a flexible work environment, combining three days in the office with two remote working days. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding the company's SaaS platform, which is built on modern technologies including Laravel and PHP. As part of an agile team, you will have the opportunity to work on both maintaining existing systems and designing new products that shape the future of the company's technology landscape. • *Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in backend development with expertise in PHP and Laravel framework. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and modern development practices such as clean architecture, service patterns, and Eloquent ORM is highly desirable. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of technical and architectural tasks, including:

• Building and maintaining scalable SaaS applications using Laravel and PHP, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Owning and improving backend architecture, including designing multi-tenant database structures and applying best practices for code quality and maintainability.
