Data Analysis Developer - Python, Perl or Java, LLM/Gen AI, Sybase (or DB2), metadata/data lineage

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and document data flows and lineage across systems
• Inventory datasets across multi-language codebases (Java, Python, SQL)
• Automate data catalogues and documentation using AI/GenAI tools
• Produce data flow diagrams and support governance/compliance

Required Skills:

• Strong Java and/or Python
• Solid SQL and RDBMS knowledge
• Experience with data lineage, metadata, or data architecture
• Ability to interpret code and data transformations
• Familiarity with AI tools (eg Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Strong communication skills

Desirable:

• Financial services experience
• CI/CD, version control, TDD/BDD exposure
• Knowledge of equity derivatives
