Data Engineer

This employer is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team to design and implement robust data products and services. The role focuses on building scalable data flows and managing complex database environments within a remote working framework.

The Role

• Develop and integrate data products into core business processes and operational systems.
• Lead the design and implementation of data streaming systems and database management activities.
• Identify opportunities to reuse existing data flows and optimise code for performance.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Build and lead teams responsible for delivering high-quality data integration services.

What You'll Need

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory for this position.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and testing large-scale data products and integration services.
• Strong technical proficiency in database management, metadata repository design, and script development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

What's On Offer

• Daily rate of £700.00 – £750.00 (Inside IR35).
• Initial 6-month contract duration.
• Fully remote working arrangement.
