Data Engineer

An employer is seeking a Data Engineer to develop Azure-based services and APIs that deliver approved healthcare data to various platforms.

The Role

• Develop robust APIs and serving components with clear schemas and validation.
• Integrate and reconcile upstream data for consistent consumer access.
• Implement reliable data processing, including safe retries and failure handling.
• Apply strict access and release controls to ensure appropriate data distribution.
• Create comprehensive integration tests, monitoring, and deployment configurations.

What You'll Need

• Experience with C#, Entity Framework Core (EF Core), Microsoft Azure, and .NET.
• Proven background in production backend development on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong skills in API design, data integration, schema evolution, and automated testing.
• Practical experience with idempotent processing, retries, observability, and failure recovery.
