Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £46,549 - £48,999 per yea r 35 hours per week – Monday to Fri d ay We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Developer to join our collaborative and forward-thinking Business Applications Team, which is part of the Technology Department at Sanctuary Gro up.

This is a great opportunity for you to work with a portfolio of critical business systems that underpin Sanctuary’s operations. You’ll play a key role in enhancing user experience, improving system efficiency and stability, and enabling smarter ways of working through intelligent configuration. You’ll be involved in strategic projects and programmes, lead on application upgrades and enhancements, and provide third-line support to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of our syst ems.

The role of Developer will inc lude:Participating in application-related projects and programmes, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementat ions.Identifying opportunities for system improvements and implement enhance mentsConfiguring applications to meet business require mentsCoordinating with vendors or internal teams for troubleshooting and up datesProviding 3rd line technical support for business-critical applica tionsEnsuring compliance with internal policies and external regula tionsSupporting audits and risk assessments related to application usageWorking closely with IT teams, developers, and external par tnersSupporting change of management processes and ensure smooth transi tionsEnsuring applications are optimized for performance and usab i lity Skills and experie nces:Experience with enterprise applica tionsIntermediate SQL skills for querying and data manipul ationUnderstanding of APIs, middleware, and integration plat formsExperience with service management platforms (Jira & H elix)Experience in managing Windows se rversKnowledge of role-based access, authentication protocols, and data protection princ iplesStrong skills in technical writing and stakeholder communic ationallowance of £8,231 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory perform ance)
