Requirements
Must have:
- We require experience in training, teaching, or coaching online in DevOps.
- We require exceptional written and on-camera communication and facilitation skills.
- We require the ability to engage business audiences, including leaders, and adapt communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- We require strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in an online classroom setting.
- We require a commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
- We require experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation, or with implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
- We require industry experience applying DevOps principles to create efficient, scalable, and reliable software delivery pipelines in a business context.
- We require a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development with a strong focus on CI/CD.
- We require a strong interest in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- We require the ability to align with our values and share examples of how you have demonstrated them.
- We require the right to work in the UK, as we cannot offer sponsorship and cannot consider overseas applications.
- We require successful applicants to undergo the relevant DBS checks and safeguarding requirements.
- We prefer prior experience delivering formal training or coaching, particularly on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or automation topics.
- We prefer experience in curriculum development or instructional design for technical subjects.
- We prefer a postgraduate qualification, such as a Masters degree, in a related field such as Computer Science, DevOps, or Cloud Computing.
Responsibilities:
- We deliver technical content across our Level 4 DevOps apprenticeship programme.
- We support apprentices in understanding continuous integration, continuous delivery, and robust infrastructure solutions through workshops and drop-in sessions.
- We help apprentices develop knowledge relating to the appropriate KSBs throughout their programme.
- We facilitate delivery sessions of our technical learning content and ensure each session meets its learning objectives within the allotted time.
- We adhere to our Coach Quality framework to deliver a consistent and high-quality apprentice experience.
- We create a vibrant, inclusive, and motivating environment that drives learning, engagement, and satisfaction.
- We moderate assignments in line with mark schemes and provide feedback and feedforward to support technical and durable skills development.
- We maintain an owners mentality by taking proactive action, sharing feedback, and providing support to ensure learner progress and success.
- We liaise regularly with other coaches to align on apprentice interventions and programme completion.
- We coordinate with cohort coaches and operations members to align on apprentice development and progress.
- We use resources and learning opportunities from Multiverse to stay up to date on knowledge, learning, and product updates.
- We build and maintain credibility with apprentices through professional experience, domain knowledge, and client context.
- We create a compelling narrative about our mission and offering, helping apprentices connect with our purpose throughout and beyond their apprenticeship.
